Hastings Alive Big Spender

Here is an update on our Big Spender draw. The day was a huge success, with exciting activities happening all through the centre of Hastings and the much welcomed presence of the sun - thank you to whoever saw to that by the way! Thank you to those who allowed our 25 buskers to hammer out their tunes in front of their store also, I'm sure this helped line the pockets of many struggling musicians out there!

A huge thank you to all our participating retailers for their support over the duration of the Big Spender Competition, which we will most definitely be carrying on with next year. A little sad that none of our winners were amongst the crowd during the draw (this will not be the case next year) but nonetheless, they were all thrilled with their prizes.

Of course, all of these prizes would not have been possible without the much appreciated support of our sponsors. To the retailers who donated prizes, we would like to thank you immensely, your generosity has made possible a very special Christmas for our winners. Some of the winning entry forms were blank re which retailer but we can tell you No. 1 Shoe Warehouse was the winning entry for the Car. The Curtain Warehouse and Spex Eyewear were the only other Retailers identified on the forms. We can also tell you all but one of the prizes were won by local people!
