Shared Working Spaces & Meeting Rooms for Hire

It’s time to break up with the dining room table.

These last three years have changed a lot about our 9 - 5. We no longer necessarily need to be in an office 40 hours a week, in person meetings are less frequent and turning off the camera in zoom meetings is no big deal. All of this is to say that uggs and pyjama pants are now acceptable work wear. While this has afforded some of us a certain level of freedom, the pantry is close, that load of washing is calling, and the staff room banter is really bloody boring.

If you are missing getting dressed for work, grabbing the pre-office coffee and feeling like you are part of the wider working community, Hastings City has four shared working spaces available for you to tap in and out of as your heart, and workload desires. And likewise, if you are sick of having business meetings in cafes (there are only so many coffee’s one can drink in a day), or maybe would like a bit of privacy for more sensitive conversations - there are also several meeting rooms available for hire by the hour.

Whatever your work style, and business needs - Hastings City has options to suit your requirements. So chuck that activewear in the wash, brush your hair, and come join us office-folk - we would love to see you.

BAD COMPANY | 120 Karamu Road North

If you are after something a little “more”, but are still commitment phobic, the next best option is booking a desk by the day. Try before you buy by purchasing a half day or full day pass, before working your way up to a 5 day, 10 day or 30 day pass until you eventually realise you can never live without them and sign on for your own committed desk.

Located right in the heart of Hastings, this space also has a meeting room for four people, a board room for eight and a dedicated phone booth for those tricky conversations, or long-winded zoom calls.
