Child (under 16): $5
(+$0.63 online booking fee)

We recommend to bring long, thick socks to make it more comfortable wearing the skates, and a bottle of water.

Yes that’s fine as long as the gloves fully cover the fingers.

Smallest is a size 9/10 which normally fits a 4 year old. Largest is a size 13 Mens.

Yes you can, however we might want to check them and have the right to refuse them.

Not really - they just have to fit the smallest pair of skates.

You don’t have to however keep in mind there is no one on the rink to assist them. Staff only go on the rink if there is an accident or injury.

We provide plastic chairs on the rink you can hold on to, for assistance with balance.

No, ice skates only. There is the option of shoe covers however they are only for adults to assist special needs.

Absolutely! We might just ask you to clean the wheels before you go on (so the wheelchair doesn’t leave any marks).

No, but as we are visiting Hastings in Winter, please still wrap up warm!
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Participants must follow all guidance and instruction of the event operators at all times. Any participant not following instruction or being unruly will have their time cut short and asked to leave.
The event organiser reserves the right to cancel or amend the activity and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophic event, Natural disasters, civil or military disturbance, pandemic, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the organisers control. Any changes to the event will be notified publicly as soon as possible by the organiser. Changes will be published on the website hastingscity.co.nz.
